The Beehive Building

It's been on both our blip journals more than once before and here it is again. There's something about it against a clear blue sky and the orange sunshades. A busy day with our 3rd time guest Manfred here, from Germany and here for the huge mobile conference. He left this morning and then I welcomed (just ready in time as they arrived an hour before they'd said!) a very nice South Korean grown up daughter and her father, with us till Saturday.

I picked up the news of the Cairo train crash this morning - shocking news, 25 dead so far. Lots of colleagues and friends were marking themselves 'safe' on Facebook. Sobering to think that we left that very station exactly a year ago today, heading to Aswan. Our blips of one year ago are from the station.
