Bumblebee

Motivation still low but managed to cajole myself into doing a couple of chores on the Must-Do list. Include another drop of old newspapers to the SPCA where I took a moment to photograph some roses and this bumblebee filling up at the flowers nearby.

Attended a get together at the Chinese Gardens this evening. It was lovely to be back in the gardens and to catch up with staff and volunteers. So many new faces and one of the old faces leaving for work in Auckland. Had a glass of wine and some lovely Chinese finger food and a meander around the gardens. On the way home came upon a breath testing road block. No worries as I had food with the wine so test was negative. Good to see the boys in blue out and about in force pre-Christmas as a reminder to be aware and take care out there over the silly season.
