Friends

Angie and I have been friends for 20 years. Unfortunately she has Alzheimer’s which has been steadily encroaching on her life and taken quite a hold the last 6 months. I meet her 2 or 3 times a week for coffee which gives her husband a bit of free time and Angie a break from her husband, who now has to be with her 24/7 unless someone else is. Conversation is mostly non-comprehensible but I can still make her laugh and most of the time she is unaware that she makes no sense. Love her to bits so will keep meeting as long as she is able.
