Who gives a fog?
Not the Irish Weather. Or very very (very) rarely. For fog implies a total absence of wind. And in Ireland the absence of wind is pretty much omniabsent…
When I got on the Dart at Tara street this evening, it was a beautiful summer evening.
When I got off the Dart at Salthill and Monkstown, it was a beautiful foggy evening.
After dinner, I dragged Luca out for a walk on the pier. His brother and sister were making enough noise as it was during their game of ping-destruction-pong without his enlightened help.
He wasn't too keen at first but soon admitted that the fog does create a very film noir atmosphere.
A very enjoyable walk it was.
