Turf War

You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men----well, it happened to me today.  On Wednesday night, I have choir practice, so I was thinking I would get a head start on my blip.  It was a foggy morning, so I got some lovely early morning traffic shots, a dew-laden spiderweb, some dewy spider holes and some lovely shots of snails climbing to higher ground----and then I put some birdseed out on the rail and the Blue Jay and the Cardinal had a little territorial dispute and I do love a good action shot, so this is the one you get to see!  Oh, and the Cardinal outlasted the Blue Jay, though the Jay was defiant in his retreat---and he came back later when the Cardinal was gone.....
