Ode to Spring (that was)

Bright sun, looked beautiful half an hour ago. Thoughts turned to the daffodils outside in all their glory.

Typical, now this ‘painterly abstraction’ is complete, the heavens have opened and the sky is grey. (As forecast, February weather has returned)

Mr G has kindly just made me a red wine onion sauce which will enhance the left over vegan shepherd’s pie I made yesterday. It came out brilliantly but needed some extra depth/seasoning.

Wanted to go ‘somewhere’ today, but the weather looks distinctly uninviting now.
