Unbelievably intensive day. A full day of peer reviewing, and no chance ever to switch off as I was chairing the panel. We got through an enormous amount of work, so that we can be sure to finish tomorrow.

At the end, Mr A and I hopped on the metro and visited PM and EK in their natural suburban habitat. A rather beautiful 1950s Helsinki apartment building. And much icier than in the centre. After a lovely evening of chat, laughter, food and drink, the walk back to the metro station was somewhat dicey, as the temperature had just dipped below zero after a day of gentle melting.
