Garden Project #1: A load of rocks!
We returned from the Hospital this morning to discover a big pile of rocks at the bottom of our garden! This scrubby, rocky funny bit at the pointy end of our garden has frustrated me for many years, so next week neighbour Richard will be transforming it in to a rockery, yay! Next visit to Harlow Carr will be a recce for alpines.
In hospital news, Tony's PSA results were again 'virtually unreadable' so we will not need to return for three months when we will be seen by the Healthcare Assistant rather than the Consultant, so a big thank you to Mr Singh for his care! Also our good wishes go to I for his operation this weekend, we'll be thinking of you x
The Invalided Hobblers managed eight laps of the cricket field this afternoon, back in our full gear as the temperature drops back in to winter! We are getting there and will hopefully all be fully fit for the Shamrock Shuffle on 17th March.
Watch this space for the emergence of the rockery. Part B of my garden project will be to get rid of the mossy bit of grass on the patio and replace it with wildflower turf!
