Wood pigeon

This pigeon, with his beedy eye, registered that a dunnock was feeding under the bird feeders so came down to investigate.  His crop was already full so he didn't stay long. Today I put out a peanut butter sandwich containing one of the pills I have been given to feed the fox with mange (he visits in daytime) and look forward to seeing on my wildlife camera who took the sandwich - for it disappeared within the hour!
