Saga of the DVD Player

DVD player - Sunday pm - worked perfectly.
Monday pm - would not play (display said 'no disc' although there was one in).
Tuesday spent resetting everything and cleaning all internals (that were accessible) to no avail.  Decision made to purchase new. Ordered Amazon Prime 6pm.
Wednesday afternoon new player delivered.
Thursday replaced old with new.  Normal service is now resumed.
