Going, Going, Gone ..

Another day ,another mart , Took another 6 heifers to St Boswell’s today. The 3 Blonde heifers didn’t sell very well , the 3 limousins slightly better , but none of them were setting the heather on fire. The fat trade is back again and buyers of store cattle are rightly cautious. Which doesn’t help me pay the bills, but can’t do anything about it. At least my lunch was cheaper than yesterday !
Back home to feed cattle, bruise sheep feeding and shift some straw bales from a lambing shed. Decided to stop at 8 pm - had enough for one day !
