FIRE & ICE

Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

What I could do with now is an open fire, strong hot tea and some holiday brochures from far flung corners of a much warmer world, I feel sure the temperatures have been minus brass monkeys all day long

A letter from the local councillors came a day or two ago saying that they intend to build another 1300 homes in the town, won't be long before we loose these precious little patches of green that are dotted around Ilkley, shame.
