Flower Friday . . . Aster

This summer I planted asters because my late father in law was a nurseryman and at one stage he grew asters to sell as cut flowers.  They do last in a vase but they are not really to my taste now.  This bright pink one is the most colourful flower in the boarder so it breaks my run of mono blips.
