Knock knock

Cute door knocker. Covered in cobwebs yet so much nicer than the bell.
A grey day today and much cooler. Still, early Spring has definitely set in. As well as the snowdrops, crocus and early daffodils, I saw lots and lots of Blackthorn in flower, the first Forsythia and, most telling of all, the first leaves on some Hawthorn. For me this signals the start of Spring. And it's always most welcome.
