It's Colder Than It Looks

My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess, 

No, do not envy me. There is a cold breeze today which is making things very shrivelly.

Also, I've had a shit week. All food businesses must register under food safety plans by the end of the month. What does this mean for me? It means the system is being overloaded - OVERLOADED - with applications. 

Today I made the fun discovery that the system can only cope with 500 applications per day, or some licenced software we bought blows up and stops doing stuff. Only it doesn't tell you that it has stopped doing stuff, and as a result we have over 1000 applicants who are stuck mid-system.

I mentioned this to various people in the department, and asked why this 500 limit wasn't written down anywhere. They shrugged and sighed.

But do I care? No I do not. For I am having a nice long weekend, and as of 4pm today I've moved on. Food registrations? What are they?
