Clootie Dumplings

Two wee clootie dumplings waiting to go into the pot to boil for around 2-3 hours.
"Cloot" means cloth in Scots and the mixture has , suet, SR flour, sugar, currants, raisins, sultanas ,grated apple, breadcrumbs, treacle, milk, mixed spice and cinnamon.
You may have seen James, from the GBBO making them.
One of them is for the Christmas hamper I'm giving to my niece's mum-in-law as part of our homemade Christmas gifts.
