GO BARRY GO!!
Hi there everyone. Apologies for not being on here sooner, but I have had so much to do, that I haven't really had time to come on blip.
Barry is settling in nicely after his stay in hospital. His breathing does seem a bit easier. I think the nebulizer that we bought has helped a lot, and the change of medication, of course. His bruising is starting to fade a bit also.
Barry had a great surprise yesterday. My son Andrew and fiancé Katrina bought him a mobility scooter, so that he could get out and about a bit more, apart from driving that is. It means that we can now go shopping, or a day out, without poor Barry struggling to breathe every few steps. They got the scooter second hand, and only used 4 times, and at £150, a real bargain!! As they are over£1,000 new! Barry's face was a total delight when he saw it, and so very grateful. It had been kept a secret for a week, until they could get up to see us, (with their work commitments). It comes apart in 5 pieces, so we can put it in the car.
This photo was taken today. Our first trip out with it. I was concerned that I could put it together, but it was so easy, once you know how. It was a real pleasure going round the shops, and Barry not having to stop and catch his breath all the time. I am absolutely delighted for him.
Thank you for following me. Take care.
Love Theresa x
