Ibis

.... a Black-faced Ibis ( Theristicus Melanopis). 

.... I am reliably informed. A waterbird native to South America. and another gem to be found at the conservation area of the farm although this bird is not in any immediate danger and is classified as a bird of least concern (see extra as well).

A day where the sun was trying it's hardest to come out but just couldn't quite make it. Saying that it wasn't as dull as was predicted and it's still mild enough that we haven't put the heating back on again. 

Spent a lovely few hours in a hide watching the antics of Parakeets (who have established themselves in the park), Jays, Quail, Goldfinches, Magpies, Squirrels and lots more.
