'Here's Looking At You Kid!'

I've had a lovely, long catch up over lunch at the Utopia Restaurant Cafe at Broughton Hall with old and dear friend Laura.  Laura and I taught together for almost thirty years and shared many good times, and survived some turbulent ones too!

Back home, Tony went up to the allotment for some leeks for tonight's casserole and reported that the Harris Hawk was back and sitting on the lampost.  Thankfully, he stayed there whilst I fetched my camera and was completely unperturbed by me blipping him.  I think he was hoping that neighbour Jonny would appear with food for him.
