Shifting Sands

When we first visited Shetland (in January 2007) one of the places we explored was Quendale Bay.  Little did we know (!) quite how much time we were going to wind up spending around there.

On that first visit we saw the remains of a old wooden ship (probably from the 19th Century) - the remains only appear out of sands occasionally, but at the moment they are again visible.
