Let there be light!

The Council have told us that electric cabling to the street lights in the village is no long fit for purpose. (It is not really a village - it is a road with 18 houses on one side of it and the sea on the other!)  Every house could say whether they wanted the lights replaced or done away with altogether. 

The majority wanted them replaced, but if possible with ones that went off at midnight and came on early in the morning.  We shall see what we get!  

The one outside our house is going to be very handy for securing the dinghy to, and I fancy would make a pretty good flag pole too!  I shall start knitting a Jolly Roger!
