Budding!

After its flowers had died back last year I returned the Amaryllis to the corner of the utility room, where it happily continued to grow enormous leaves. Suddenly it has produced two fat buds, promising yet another show of blooms.
I shall shortly bring it into its prime spot in the dining room, where the same piece of string support is still in place, with the flatiron heavy weight, ready to provide whatever assistance is necessary.

I think it deserves a light snack of Miracle Grow.
