Sculpture portfolio 4
Stuck on the computer all day, and a grey day outside anyway, so as I wasn't sure what to blip, I decided to take a photo of another of my sculptures for my portfolio.
This is my interpretation of a colossal stone head on the top of Nemrut Dag, a mountain in southeastern Turkey that we visited when we lived in Turkey in 1997. The head depicts Zeus Oromasdes (associated with Zoroastrian god Ahura Mazda), part of a temple complex built in 62 BC.
