Death

They say that death is a part of life but that never makes it any easier when death comes. Yesterday was the funeral of my mentor and colleague of six years. Today was quite rough and it being a relatively gloomy day did not help the cause. 

These daffodils and my friend's passing have reminded me to live responsibly for today because none of us know exactly how long we will be here.
