Hello, The Sea of Cortez

Hola!,  We’re not that far away but it took all day to get here with 2 delayed flights, and lots of long lines of lots of people.  Flying is not my idea of fun.  But now, walking on the sea malecon in Loreto, Mexico, in shirtsleeves on our way to a yummy fish dinner al fresco, my attitude improved.   Promised you a new body of water so here is the Sea of Cortez from the Baja Penisula.. the little harbor in the eco town of Loreto.   We sailed with friends on their boat once from here to some lovely islands with water that is swimmable.  It’s mexico’s Largest marine preserve , designated a Unesco world Heritage site in 2005.    Hope to see some whales this trip.   More to come...right now I’m too tired for anything more ....never sleep well before a trip and got up way too early, 4:09, before the alarm which was set for 4:30.
