Martha (right) smiled angelically all through this afternoon's performance of Humph the Camel. The whole thing was fab!

The matinee hadn't gone quite so smoothly, with Martha suffering her own Judy Finnigan/Janet Jackson moment after fellow angel Amelie trod on her dress during Away In A Manger.

The outfit slipped off Martha's shoulders and gathered round her waist, leaving her top half on full view to teachers, parents and two visiting pre-schools. A teaching assistant rushed to the rescue with safety pins.

"It was OK at first but now I'm fed up with everyone going on about it, especially the boys," said Martha later.

She was the subject of much conversation again after the second performance, having milked the applause at the end by extravagantly blowing kisses. Good recovery, I thought.
