Successful Saturday

Today friend Nancy and I had our annual outing to the Strathendrick Singers Coffee Morning in Killearn. It was very well-attended, which was a slight disadvantage because a lot of folk tended to carry on chatting throughout the intermittent pieces performed by members of the choir.

I suppose it's a difficult one to balance : people obviously want to chat with their friends over coffee, but it must be demoralising to try and sing when (some of) the audience isn't listening. Still, the occasion is a big fund-raiser for the choir.

I came home with the two above items, one of which I won in the raffle, the other I bought. I'll leave you to work out which was which. 

I have opened and consumed half the contents of one, the other remains intact. Again you can probably guess which one...   ;-)
