For Gran

Gran's Thanksgiving Service this afternoon. Funeral really, but we were determined to bill it as a celebration of her long life. And it was. The chapel at the crematorium was full, Chris and Steve helped to carry the coffin. The tributes all went well,. People laughed. Afterwards almost 60 people came back to my house for "tea". I almost ran out of plates (see earlier blip)! It was "a good bash" as Gran would have said.  Some people who I didn't recognise and many who i haven't seen for years.This blip is of Penny and Steve, Chris and Shelly sitting in the conservatory. Chris decided to ear a purple shirt because that was one of Gran's favourite colours! My extra is of the flowers that were on her coffin.
