Early Spring Nectar

After a successful shopping exhibition, when Mum bought some new soft furnishings to introduce some more colour into her mainly bland, magnolia coloured lounge, I took a brief stop at Darenth Country Park.

Despite the rather dull cloudy weather (which did brighten up a bit) the birds were chirping and the daffs and hawthorn blossom were beginning to bloom. I spotted this hoverfly getting stuck into an early season feed, courtesy of the recent warm weather.
