Peanut butter and pecan cake

One stop before we went to the Dutch railways bike rental location. The weather was good enough to go by bike from the station to my father's. After crossing the country by train it was very nice to cycle through the meadows from the city Groningen to my birthplace. It is a new cycle path that makes the route much shorter than it used to be.

All was well with my father. I was glad to hear about my father's plans to go to Switzerland on holiday with his friend. I think it is a sign of good health. He has not felt so well for a long time that he had something positive to say.
We left with a good feeling.
