Mrs Bullfinch

I like the delicate colouring of the female Bullfinch, she's much less flamboyant than her male counterpart and I think she's probably more shy too. It was good to see her just sitting on the branch rather than eating as Bullfinches as a breed tend to be rather messy eaters.

Apart from a walk first thing we've had a very quiet day, mainly because I've felt low on energy - a shame because  there were a couple of events locally which I might have gone to if I'd felt up to it.  Anyway I'm going to continue with the quiet theme and have a relaxing evening doing nothing.
