Invisibles in the Palacio de Cristal, Madrid
Inside the mini Crystal Palace In the Retiro Park are three giant size heads, facing each other. In the brilliant light of the afternoon they are surprisingly hard to capture. Hence their name Invisibles. (The explanatory words are almost incomprehensible in their English translation : Plensa's heads are metamorphoses of the being, highlighting with their transfigurations an identity of the human condition and becoming exercises in memory by breaking into the present through the materiality that configures them.)
