Empty Nest

I walked to Bonnington Farm this morning to buy eggs. There was a bitter cold wind blowing which put me off stopping to take pictures. I noticed this little nest with its soft woolly lining in one of the hedges near the farm. You can see there are buds just waiting for the Spring. It’s been too warm recently for lighting the wood burning stove but tonight is definitely a night to light the stove
