Back to basics!

Not a good day for photography, being rather - very, actually - windy. Thankfully the rain eased off by breakfast but the wind kept up until early afternoon.
While MaggieD did a bit of gardening then went off to visit a friend, I attacked one of my model railroad boards.
This HO gauge track layout just isn't doing what I had hoped from it and the curves are a little too tight for some of the rolling stock. So it is going to go! I will save as much track as I can and will re-use it in future but for the time being I have a smaller N gauge board I would like to move forward. This will also take up a lot less room which result will be welcome by someone!
