Tednambury Lock

Lovely, if rather damp, walk along the Stort with my daughter and granddog this morning. We watched a group of kayakers approach Tednambury lock out in the countryside. They had to disembark and carry their craft to the river beyond the lock. As we were on our way back to Spellbrook the kayakers returned. Ollie dog loved running alongside them on the towpath.

After lunch Ollie and I walked at Lodge Farm. It is always breezy there but today Storm Freya certainly made herself felt. She carried the scent of deer from the valley which Ollie picked up before they came into view in the distance.
