Mickey and Donald

When I was a kid, pretty much every one of these front gardens had a privet hedge. And for as long as I can remember, maybe 50 years, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck have stood guard over this driveway. The hedges are long gone, the houses have both changed hands and the front gardens dug up in favour of car parking: but Donald and Mickey remain.
