Knot filling

Many thanks for all the kindness yesterday.

Today, Sunday, I have been preparing a short bit of training I'll be running next week and thinking about all the teachers who give up weekend after weekend to prepare classes because preparation and marking are not seen as part of a normal working week.

I think about the teacher shortage. I think about the thousands of trained teachers no longer working in schools. I wonder how long it will take for the decision-makers to learn to add 2 and 2. Perhaps they should visit a school and find out.
