A BottleBrush Tree......

A Bottlebrush is so named because the bloom or flower of the species looks like the end of a brush that cleans bottles.   It is an Evergreen and can be found as a shrub, or if allowed to grow, can become treelike, as this one pictured, is.   The top picture is of the crown of a tree, the bottom picture is of the blossom, or flower.  As you can see, it looks like the scrubber end of a brush.   If you look really closely, you can see faint, yellow dot at the ends of what would be the bristles.  That is the pollen end which sends out pollen and receives pollen for the stamen.
