Last one

My youngest is in his last year of school and today was the last school carol service that I will attend with him. Another chapter is drawing to a close with just two more school terms to go.

In some ways I'll be glad to be free of the school run, the dreaded parent/teacher meetings, school reports, uniform, sewing on name tapes, battles over homework, exams etc etc.

But then I'll be left to wonder just how the last 18 years have disappeared so quickly.
