Mercado Central
Valencia's Central Market is a huge early 20th Century building, where I could have spent several hours with a camera, photographing the customers, the produce and the colourful windows.
After a bit less time that that we took the tram to the seaside barrio of El Cabanyal, with its old houses, one famous pub and yet another market. I could have pretended that my shots of the beach were a deliberate attempt at a high key, artistic effect. In fact, I had forgotten to readjust the ISO after leaving the market and the polarising lenses in my sunglasses meant I could not see the results on my camera screen.
