Mixed architecture designed by mixed architects.

Different buildings designed through different times by different architects educated by different professors. Was at a lunch meeting in the city today. While I was waiting to be let in through the main door in the back yard of the office building, I had "time to stand and stare" as William Henry Davies would have told me to do. Saw this labyrinth of buildings. Was thinking, why not keep them so. They show an architecture from different times. Today such buildings are demolished to give place to new high modern ones in steel, glass and concrete, all more or less alike. That was my thinking until the door got opened.
