Grey days

Photographed a photographer David Gillanders yesterday and his collodion plate images from an enormous plate camera are quite beautiful. The preparation and processes involve highly toxic chemicals given under license, yet digital images take a few tweaks in photoshop to attempt to recreate this, albeit not as unique or clever.
