Backblipped on Monday.

We ventured deep into Tryards territory today in search of a new car ( yes, we're still looking to possibly replace hubby's car ).
The situation is becoming crucial because his MOT is due in a couple of weeks and as things stand his car is unlikely to pass.
We're struggling to find a replacement because the model of car, style, comfort, power level etc of his current car just isn't made anymore and we are really attached to it.
Almost everything out there is either diesel, electric, tiny or massive, so when we come across a suitable potential we don't hang about ( petrol cars with a bit of oomph are like hen's teeth these days ) .........anyway the car we went to look at ticked loads of boxes but had been ' tinkered with' to increase the power by the previous owner, so we didn't want to take the risk of the engine blowing up and came home disappointed again.
We stopped for lunch at a supermarket on the way home where we were presented with this artistic coffee :-)

We have now decided to pay the rather large repair bill on his current car in the hope that it sorts out the problems ( sadly not a guaranteed fix ) and we can enjoy it for a few more years :-))
