A Shot To The Heart
The council and the Woodland Trust have been busy taking down a lot of diseased trees is the area. It really is horrible to see lines of trunks lying like this.
We haven't had PD for the last two weeks so my two walks with him today have left me having to take the painkillers.
However, it was nice to see the blossom out (I still haven't worked out what kind).
I had to drop off a memory stick with slides shows for the camera club on Wednesday (I will not be able to make it and it turns out that the committee were basically going to have the evening handed over to me -- it would have helped if they had asked me).
On the way to the chairman's house I stopped off at The Waterloo Tower - a folly built about 1815 (which will require wellies to get over the stream to get some better picture) and the Standing stones (which have only been standing since last summer).
