That's a wrap

Having repaired the main, the Gibaults require wrapping. This is a layered process, first stage is primer which is like a grease this is spread liberally over the surface and in this case  both Gibaults, next is the mastic,this looks like a huge block of licorice and when hot it is really pliable next I wrapped the whole thing in Petrolatum Tape and finally  the whole thing is wrapped  again in PVC Tape adding about 2 hours more to the job. This is quite a new practice for us and this is my first time using this system.  Looked good and even better if you where a Blind person going past on a galloping horse.
