You wouldn’t read about it!

Warning: Rant to follow...
These two books are on sale at a local hospital gift shop. They are about dressing up and have various stickers to dress the character.
In the boy’s book, you can dress the boy as a chef, a fire fighter, a doctor, an astronaut etc.
In the girl’s book you can dress the girl in pretty clothes to pick flowers in the garden, or go to the beach or have a
tea party, or go shopping.
Are you seriously kidding me. This is 2019 people! Why isn’t the girl being dressed as a doctor or a fire fighter or at least some career?!
I was so incensed I started to rant to the woman next to me who took photos of it. She is going to show her 14 year old daughter who is doing a project on this sort of thing at school. There may even be a protest email or two she says.
