Turning, turning.

In the distance is Whitelees wind farm - Europe's largest wind farm. You can see the 110m tall turbines from my mum's new (to her) house in Eaglesham village. I think they give a certain amount of comfort when you get up in the morning and see that the world's still turning.

Another bit of our world has stopped turning though. It is my Uncle's funeral today. He hadn't been well, but we thought he was going to be ok, but suddenly he wasn't. When I was a child especially, he was a great Uncle. Fun, and a different kind of man from my Dad. He'll be missed by the family, but mostly by my mum's sister of course.
