Elephant Bush

Portulacaria afra. I have never seen this plant in flower before and was delighted to find it today. I am in awe of its abilitly to sequester carbon. Unfortunately it needs a semi-arid climate and probably wont do well at home on the Californian coast. A favourite food for the elephants of Addo Elephant Park.
