Maule's Quince

The shrub's Sunday name is Chaenomeles Japonica. It's a thorny deciduous shrub that it commonly cultivated.
We have two in Elie and they need a fair amount of pruning (done by L) to keep them in shape.

By the end of our badminton games today I was nearly down on my knees .... think I'll need to find a more leisurely sport for my aging bones. L and I were playing together which we don't normally do. We won the first game, narrowly lost the second two but by game four where we only played to 11 the score was a clear win to our opponents .... Caravancrazy come back soon!
