Shrove Tuesday

Pancakes in the making.

Gluten free flour is hit and miss for pancakes but I always give them a go. Here's the mixture resting before I do my best to cook them. Looks like craters on the moon. Shrove Tuesday doesn't signify the day before a period of abstinence for me but I enjoy the challenge of pancake making. It's the three year old's sleepover night so I had help to mix the batter and I'm sure there'll be help to eat the finished articles later.

It's been a fairly quiet day and it's turning into a nice sunny evening. Flora has gone for a walk with one of the Borrow my Doggy walkers leaving Otter to enjoy some peace.
